Snakeskin and Fur

 



It's not snowing in Dubai BUT it is December...so, what a great excuse to put on a white fur outfit!

 

 

 I'm wearing one of my FAVORITE coats. This is a white fox fur coat that I purchased in Los Angeles.  It is soooooo soft. 

 

 

This is also one of my FAVORITE bags.  It's a snakeskin Valentino bag that I purchased from a Valentino boutique in Dubai.

 

 

...and of course, this is also one of my FAVORITE boots...my snakeskin Dolce & Gabanna boots that I purchased from Harrods in London.  They were the last pair...size 35...and I was so lucky to fit into them!

 

I LOVE the two together!!!

GOLD METALLIC BURBERRY TRENCH COAT

I purchased the coat in GOLD...one of my FAVORITE colors.  I love that it is such a classical coat but so flashy at the same time.  This color is also so versatile.

 

 

 

I really LOVE the combination of gold with leopard print. So, I matched my coat with my leopard print Dior saddle bag and leopard print Christian Louboutins.   

 

 

 

I just love the combination of my Dior leopard print bag and leopard print Louboutins because they both have a hint of red that brings the two together so nicely. (Did you notice the red on both?)

So, then...I thought I would try something else with my lovely Gold Burberry Leather Trench Coat...since I am a fan of all gold...and Elie Saab!

(Does anyone remember Elie Saab's all gold Spring 2007 collection?  The models were literally dressed in gold from head to toe, including accessories. This is one of my favorite collections from one of my favorite designers!!! And I love that he is Lebanese!!!)  

So, I went for the all gold look, and matched my coat with my gold Chanel bag and gold Manolo Blahniks.

Since it's been a tiny bit cooler than usual in Dubai, I used any excuse to bring out my boot collection (and you will see more in future posts). Here, I am wearing a pair of gold Jimmy Choo boots which I absolutely LOVE.

Do you remember this AMAZING Blumarine collection????  This is one of my favorites. I waited months for this collection to become available in Dubai.  Check out the pink dress I bought below.  I bought a matching belt with it.  I bought it in another color, which I will post soon!

Beige Kelton Fringe Boots.  These boots are sooooo fun! When you walk the fringes sway.  They are sooo comfortable too!

Meghan Fabulous Dress

I remember first seeing this BREATHTAKING dress in a magazine years ago while living in Canada.  I had never heard of"Meghan Fabulous" at the time.  I searched the magazine for a contact number and called a number in Los Angeles. They told me that this was a new designer.  So, the dress was not being mass produced at the time, and if I wanted one I would have to place a special order AND the dress would not be the same...it would be a similar dress. So, sadly, I didn't order it.

A FEW YEARS LATER, after I moved to Dubai, it was by stroke of good luck that I walked into Bloomingdales at Dubai Mall....and THERE IT WAS!!! THE MEGHAN FABULOUS DRESS I had seen in a magazine years ago.  Well, I just simply had to buy it!  That dress was waiting for me!!!  Ha! Ha!

 My Turquoise Chanel Bag (turquoise is my favorite color!!)I love this bag!  I keep telling the Dubai Chanel stores that Chanel needs to come out with Maxis and Jumbos in this color!!!!!!!!!!
 

 

 Dolce & Gabanna Shoes (that totally match the colors of my dress!) You would have thought the dress was made for these shoes (or vice versa)!!
